Monogram wedding cake topper

Monogram wedding cake toppers are a slick option for couples who aren't interested in the traditional bride and groom topper. This year, monograms seem to be particularly hot. Perhaps it's just that they look particularly stunning for winter weddings?

There's nothing like the sleek crispness of silver or matt-white monogram wedding cake topper on a stunning white cake. I particularly like the monogram letters from My Event Favours.

Letters easily fit onto a 6 inch or 8 inch cake, and picks are mounted into the bottom of each monogram for insertion into the cake. The typical 3-letter monogram is two small letters for the initials of the bride and groom's given names, and a large letter for the first initial of their surname.

The great thing about monograms - and these ones in particular - is that you can easily change the look to more casual just by using one large intitial and an ampersand (&) or double hearts in the middle.

US$39.95 is a great price for such a great piece. (Use Elldridge Lynch's Currency Converter to work out the price in your currency.)

Celebrity wedding designer Marcy Blum also offers a wedding favor suggestion that would fit in perfectly with a silver-monogramed cake topper theme. She suggests giving a prism-glass snowflake with your names and the date of your wedding engraved on the back.
